Lumina festival uses the principles of a safer space. We require commitment to the principles and compliance with them from all our visitors, performers and staff.

BE OPEN.

Face new topics and people as open-minded as possible. Take every thing and situation that comes on your way as an opportunity to learn something new and develop.

RESPECT.

Give others space, pay attention to your choice of words and remember the diversity of the event's participants.

AVOID ASSUMPTIONS.

Respect everyone's right to self-definition and try not to make assumptions about, for example, others' gender, background or family relationships. We all have assumptions, but you can use your actions not to feed them and not let them guide your actions.

REMEMBER CONSENT.

Everyone has the right to physical and mental integrity. Don't assume that the other person wants something, ask for their consent.

INTERVENE.

If you witness harassment or other inappropriate action, do not remain a bystander. Intervene in situations and report them to the staff.

ENCOURAGE.

Also take responsibility for the experience of other participants. Listen, help and encourage. Take care of yourself and your fellow visitors.

RELAX.

Making mistakes and asking questions is allowed. Everyone makes mistakes, and you shouldn't be afraid to make them.
