The 2022 Lumina festival was supposed to be held on January 8th, 2022 in Tampere at Tullikamari Pakkahuone. The program included music performers such as Yeboyah and Malla, as well as up-and-coming names found through an open call that was organized for the first time. However, the event had to be canceled at the last minute due to the corona pandemic restrictions.

 

With the help of the financial support collected through a Mesenaatti campaign organized within the event production, it was possible to continue the production directly with the goal of organizing the event the following year.
